in News by

Results for the Common Admission Test (CAT)- 2017 were declared by IIM Lucknow yesterday. Interestingly, two female students and three non-engineers feature among the Top 20 scorers.

In a email on Monday, IIM- Lucknow informed that like the CAT-2016 results, this year too, 20 students scored a 100 percentile. It further noted that unlike last year where all of the top scorers were males and engineers, this year, females and non-engineers have also made an appearance in the list.

Over 199,000 students across the country appear for securing admissions at the top Business schools. It was conducted in two shifts on November 26, 2017, in over 140 cities across the country. CAT scores are used by the 20 IIMs which admit around 4000 students into their flagship two-year management programs along with 100 other institutes that use CAT scores for admissions.

IIM Lucknow will be calling students for interviews in February-April.
