Delhi University and several of its colleges have decided to continue their direct interactions with undergraduate aspirants through Open Day and Open House, reports The Times of India.
The Open Day of DU will resume with SGTB Khalsa College in North Campus, on Monday. The college will be hosting it from 10am to 1pm.
Moving it to South Campus, Sri Venkateswara College will be conducting the Open Day on Tuesday. This will be followed by Zakir Husain College holding the Open Day on Wednesday and Thursday.
As reported by The Times of India, the final two days of Open Day on Friday and Saturday will be conducted at S P Jain Centre in South Campus from 10am to 1pm.
Kirori Mal College will host its Open House at 11.30am on Tuesday. A centre for undergraduate aspirants who are having problems with the centralised online form, has also been opened at KMC. Teachers and volunteers will be present so as to guide the candidates and the college will also provide scanners to make copies of the relevant certificates.
In a statement, officiating principal Dinesh Khattar said, “Apart from general information about the admission process of the university, we will also speak about the college, its courses and the facilities. Aspirants will also get an opportunity to take a tour of the college, have a look at the infrastructure and, most importantly, interact with the faculty.”
Lady Shri Ram College for Women’s pre-admission counselling will commence from June 10 and will continue till June 19 from 9 am to 1 pm. However, the counselling will remain closed on Sunday.
