DU to release three more cut-off lists for undergraduate admissions

With almost 7,000 seats unfilled, Delhi University’s admission committee on Wednesday announced that it will be releasing three more cut-off lists for admission to undergraduate courses for the academic year 2016-2017. The undergraduate admission process started on May 1, 2016 with the online registration process. But a large number of seats have remained unfilled, including many in popular courses such as Commerce, Economics, English, History, Political science, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry across several colleges.

The sixth cut-off will be announced on August 20 and admissions will be conducted on till August 22. The University has already announced five cut-off lists till date.

The seventh cut-off list will come on August 24 and admissions will take place till August 26.

The eighth cut-off list will be out on August 29 and admissions under this cut-off will be completed on August 30.

The maximum number of applications this year (1,15,786) have been received for B.A. (honours) English course, followed by B.A. Programme with over 98,000 applications and B.A. (Honours) Political Science too crossing the 90,000 mark.
