Hindu College fills up 790 of its 800 undergraduate seats, SRCC in tow

Admissions are going on in full swing in DU colleges, despite the sky-high cut-offs and the uncertainty over the past few days. The seats up for grabs are slowly getting filled up under the third cut-off list. Most of the North Campus colleges are chock-a-block with admission seekers.

Hindu College has already filled up 790 of the total 800 seats in its undergraduate courses. Admissions have been closed for courses such as Botany (Hons.), Zoology (Hons.), Political Science (Hons.) and BA (Programme). Officials have said admissions in some of these courses might be opened again after cancellations.

SRCC too, is likely to fill all its seats under the third cut-off. There may not be a fourth cut-off list for Commerce. Of the 53 colleges that offer B. Com (Hons.), 16 have closed admission. For Economics, 7 out of the total 34 colleges have filled seats. Colleges who still have admissions open for these courses include Lady Shri Ram College, Hansraj, and Kirori Mal College.
