Delhi University to start free classes for PG entrance exams

University of Delhi is inviting applications for a “crash course” for the NET entrance exam free of cost for students from backward (SC, ST and OBC-Non creamy layer) and economically weaker sections (EWS/BPL) in various post-graduate disciplines.

Like the Pre-NET winter school 2016, a summer school was also held in May-June 2016 where coaching classes were held in the following subjects-Commerce, Law and Biomedical Science. The details are as follows-

Tentative dates of classes: 5-11-2016 to 12-12-2016 (Chemical and Life Sciences) and 17-12-2016 to 15-01-2017 (Law and Commerce)

  1. Category/Income certificate has to be produced at the time of registration.

This course is intended for those students “who cannot afford the NET coaching at private institutes”, according to DU’s press release.

The last date for online registration is today i.e. 1.11.2016, midnight.

Since the seats are limited, applicants are requested to register as soon as possible.
