Online tech media platform Inc42 is launching its youth-oriented entrepreneurial programme, The Misfits. The programme is focused around fostering a community of young entrepreneurial minds across the country.
Inc42, as a brand, caters to the growth stage startup community, in terms of its content and events. The Misfits will be catering to yet-to-start-up startups; and hold a one of its kind mega event around mid-April to spark off this campaign. The programme has already partnered with well-known organisations like TiE Delhi NCR, Cashkaro, and youth-oriented publications like University Express, DU Express and College Desk.
Campus Misfits, the campus arm of The Misfits programme, would comprise a team of highly motivated, aspiring entrepreneurs from the student community. They will lead this initiative at the campus level.
The Misfits is aimed at cultivating the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country, from aspiring college students to budding entrepreneurs to early stage ventures. The programme will unfold a series of curated events (offline and online), giving opportunities to the aspirants to build and scale up their startups, and the existing giants to connect with them and groom them. The dream is to impact a quarter million minds by 2020.
The application process for the Campus Misfits program is now open. College students across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore can apply here to become a Campus Misfit!
Shortlisted candidates will be screened further over a face to face interview.
“Many successful startups were launched by young starry eyed entrepreneurs in college. College is the time when people start thinking about what they finally want to do with their lives. It’s the time when one discovers oneself and finds their passion. Keeping that in mind, we are pleased to announce the launch of our newest initiative The Misfits, targeted towards student entrepreneurs and the young Indians who want to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey,” said Amit Pandey, COO, Inc42.
