Symbiosis, Bangalore to host the launch of its in-house Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell- SEED


Start-ups are becoming a trend, and the go-to way for fresher opportunities is abundant, but what is required is the right gateway for one’s ideas. An amazing opportunity has come up at SSMC, which is hosting the launch of its in-house Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell- SEED on 8th July, 2016 at 3:30pm at the SIU, Bangalore Campus.

Symbiosis centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence Development aims to create an entrepreneurship culture in the campus. SEED is responsible for fostering entrepreneurship amongst students and assisting budding entrepreneurs by providing them with necessary resources.

The institute has partnered with the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), and constituted an advisory board of industry experts to steer the activities of the cell.

Ms. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson and Managing Director, Biocon Limited will launch the Symbiosis Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence Development, SEED. Following the launch, she is also slated to deliver a keynote address on Entrepreneurship.

Many other well-known names from the start up world will also share their views on the day. Mr.Shalabh Mittal, CEO, School of Social Entrepreneurs India; Mr. Naveen Lakkur, Public speaker, Author, Director of Founder Institute, Bangalore, World’s largest start-up accelerator; Mr. Samir Chaudhary, Co-founder, The Media Ant; Mr. Sanjay Anandaram, Venture Capitalist and Partner at Seedfund, Founding Partner and Managing Director at Jump Start-up Venture Capital will also address everyone present.

SSMC-B aims to serve the needs of the Media and Communication industry and society through education, training, research and advocacy. SSMC has carved a niche in Media and Communication through its MBA program in Communication Management and has been deemed as the Centre of Excellence in Advertising & Public Relations.
